Our 19/21mm natural sheep casings are the smallest diameter casings we carry, making them an excellent choice for snack sticks, mini links, and other narrow-diameter sausage products.
These casings are graded A/B Quality, meaning they offer good overall strength and appearance but may contain a small number of pinholes. For best results, they are recommended for slightly coarser meat mixtures with enough texture to remain contained within the casing.
Smooth, finely emulsified meat pastes can also be stuffed into these casings, but the finer mixture may occasionally push through small pinholes during stuffing. As a general rule, a slightly coarser grind will provide the most dependable performance.
Each hank is pre-tubed for fast, convenient loading onto the stuffing horn, reducing preparation time, tangling, and unnecessary handling.
